Sunlast Metal Endorses ZIP System® Sheathing and Tape

04/09/2014

Charlotte, N.C. – April 9, 2014 – Sunlast Metal Inc., one of Florida’s premier metal roofing manufacturers, has endorsed Huber Engineered Woods LLC, leading manufacturer of innovative building solutions.

Sunlast Metal has certified that its metal roofing products may be installed over ZIP System® sheathing for maximum protection against moisture and air leakage. When installed in accordance with Sunlast Metal’s and ZIP System sheathing’s installation instructions, the two products provide added structural durability, superior moisture resistance and energy efficiency.

“Sunlast Metal prides itself on providing a superior roofing product in full compliance with statewide building codes,” said Terry Kapron, President, Sunlast Metal. “ZIP System is a trusted roofing substrate that meets even the most stringent building codes. We’re pleased to provide this endorsement for a product that maintains the same high quality standards.”

ZIP System sheathing is a one-of-a-kind roof and wall system with a built-in energy-efficient barrier that keeps moisture out and reduces air leakage, while still allowing panels to properly dry.

If Sunlast Metal roof panels and ZIP System sheathing are installed in accordance with installation instructions and comply with local, county and state building codes, Sunlast Metal warranties will apply.
