AdvanTech Flooring® Wins Builder Magazine’s Quality Award for 11th Consecutive Year
CHARLOTTE, NC. (January 10, 2012) – For the 11th consecutive year, AdvanTech® Flooring from Huber Engineered Woods has been voted by builders as the #1 Quality Leader of subflooring in BUILDER magazine’s annual Brand Use Study.
Each year, for its Guide to Building Products special issue, BUILDER magazine commissions an in-depth study surveying what brands builders recognize most, use most, how they rate the products' quality, and which companies are best at communicating with builders. The study is conducted by Readex, an independent research company. The 2011 survey asked 260 nationwide builders to rank subfloor brands based on a quality rating scale, with one being poor and 7 being excellent. AdvanTech flooring was for the 11th year in a row judged to have the highest quality.
“We are honored to have won BUILDER magazine’s quality award for an unprecedented 11th consecutive year,” said Steve McNamee, AdvanTech Flooring General Manager. “Especially rewarding is that this award is voted on by builders and remodelers who work closely with the product and are therefore in the best position to judge which brands consistently deliver on promises made. The need for AdvanTech Flooring came about because builders told us they wanted a product that could withstand tough weather conditions during construction, assemble easily and provide a strong and quiet floor homeowners demand. While this award provides validation we have helped erase many builder pain points related to subflooring, we will continue to ensure we manufacture the highest quality subflooring on the market that continually exceed builder expectations.”
